The Mobile Photo Album Solution gives users an easy "one-click" way to publish photos from
their mobile devices to a personal photo album web site.

that quickly and easily publishes the photos to the internet.
This "Direct-to-Web" technology, which is proprietary to Boomerang Software, enables
thousands or millions of photos to reach internet viewing within seconds after they are
taken by users.
In its simplest form, a mobile phone user takes a photo and the photo is automatically
transmitted over the phone networks and appears on the web.
That photo application integrates into the photo software of the mobile device, and is
triggered and processed automatically when the user takes a photo.
It becomes a part of your handset camera and functions as a built in feature.
The user's album can be viewed by others on the Web via browsers.
Besides publishing the photos to the site, the user can also login to his/her
album site via a browser.
1. Summary list of features
a. Send Photos to your web account
The user can send pictures right after taking them, or choose from
the existing photos.
There are three modes to send photos to your account on the Web;
you can change the mode from the settings menu of the
Photo Album application.
When you choose to publish a photo to the Web, a copy is sent
to the server. The photo also remains in the original location.
b. The user can login into his/her personal photo album site.
The site provides the means for the user
to delete or rename photos, etc.
2. How to get the application
Step 1: Using your PC visit downloads
Step 2: Click on the "New Account Registration" to register.
Step 3: Fill in the form. Please provide a valid email address.
Step 4: Check your email. An email has been sent to you,
it has your login and password information and confirmation link.
Please click on that link to activate your account.
Step 5: Download the software either for Pocket PC or for Smart Phone.
The download file is about 200 KB. If you download it directly
to your Win CE based Mobile Device, than it will automatically install
into your device. If you download it from your computer browser,
you need to transfer it to your phone and
it will then install itself.
3. How to install the application on the handset
Requires no installation. When you download from the web it
automatically installs it on your handset.
4. How to use the application
First, before using the application you must activate
the program by logging in.
Once you have logged in, you remain permanently logged in
(there is no logout function or condition).
The user can publish either new or existing photos.
When the user takes a photo, Photo Album captures the new image
creation event in the device and automatically sends
it to the server or activates the "Publish photo"dialog box.
The user selects whether or not to publish this new photo.
In both cases the photo is saved in the phone. The user can
also browse existing photos and select a photo for publishing.
The program has the following options:
a. Add photo
When you choose this menu item and choose the picture you want to
send then press ok it will be placed in the send list of the program.
If there is no connection, the photo will be published to
the Web immediately.
Otherwise the program will send the photo when the connection is restored.
b. Skip photo
You can choose this menu when you have pictures in the send list
that you don't want to send.
This will remove all the photos from the send list; however they will
still remain in their original location in the Mobile Device.
c. Settings
i. Ask me to publish photos
ii. Publish photos automatically (without asking)
iii. Publish only manually selected photos
5. Where are your photos published?
Currently photos are published and stored on global servers of
Boomerang Software Inc.
